Dr. Ava V. Smith

Dr. Smith is an influential leader with a passion to evoke change. She is known for her passionate and inspirational messages. Dr. Smith has a B.A. in Psychology from Saint Louis University, a Masters in Sports Psychology from Capella University, a Masters in Education, specializing in Special Education, from the University of Missouri, Saint Louis, and she earned her Doctorate in Teacher Leadership from Maryville University, in Saint Louis, Missouri.

Dr. Smith takes pride in educating others on the importance of academic achievement. She has a passion for exploring the racial discrepancies in academic achievement. Dr. Smith recently published her first book, Breaking Through to Increase Academics. She uses her experience, knowledge, and passion to teach other educators/organizations how to be successful leaders. She will offer you, your school, your organization, and/or your employees the tools and strategies you need to grow.
